Como ya sabéis, podéis conseguir vuestros dispositivos Garmin en cualquiera de los centros SPORT LAB. De camino vienen las primeras unidades del espectacular Forerunner 910XT, el nuevo reloj Garmin que, además de controlas todos los parámetros físicos, actúa como dispositivo GPS, velocímetro, odómetro, etc. Es capaz de medir el rendimiento en las tres disciplinas del triatlón y efectuar la transición entre una y otra con sólo presionar un botón.

As you already know, you can get a Garmin device in any of the SPORT LAB branches. First units of the Forerunner 910XT are on the way. This watch controls all the physical parameters, acts as a GPS, speedometer, odometer, etc. It is also capable of measuring your performance in any of the triathlon three disciplines and carry out the transition just by pressing one key.

Come sapete, da ora potrete ottenere il vostro dispositivo Garmin in ognuno dei centri SPORT LAB. In seguito, vengono presentate le prime unità dello spettacolare Forerunner 910XT, il nuovo orologio Garmin che, oltre a controllare tutti i parametri fisici, agisce come dispositivo GPS, velocimetro, odometro, etc. E´ capace di misurare il rendimento nelle tre discipline del triathlon e realizzare la transizione tra una e l´altra con premendo semplicemente un bottone.

Per mantenerci costantemente sul trampolino di lancio dell´evoluzione e dello sviluppo, necessaria per la nostra attività, dobbiamo avanzare nei nostri protocolli, nei nostri metodi e nelle nostre attrezzature. Siamo dell´opinione che i grandi progressi non derivino dalla tecnologia, bensì dall´ingegnosa applicazione della stessa. Ferro, legno, qualche cuscinetto e adesivi. Sembra semplice,vero? Me gusta dejar claro qué sucede en nuestro mercado ciclista en lo relativo a distribución. No es la primera vez que os cuento una de las muy impresentables actitudes o respuestas de los distribuidores, marcas, tiendas, etc. de las que tengo sufrimiento directo. Hago frecuentes gestiones con ellos, bien como SPORT LAB, bien como usuario y veo de todo. Cuando cuento algo malo, no digo el pecador. En este caso voy a contar algo bueno y diré quién anda detrás de un resultado favorable.

Hace 4 años compré dos luces Cateye para mi bici urbana. Cateye es una marca ejemplar en lo referente a calidad de producto. Sin embargo, estas luces, con un uso mínimo,  descargaban las pilas a un ritmo escandaloso incluso apagadas. Hace unas semanas acudí como usuario a Macario Llorente, distribuidor para España, y le expuse que, aunque las luces no estaban cubiertas por la garantía, que me dieran una solución. Mi sorpresa fue mayúscula al recibir una respuesta al día siguiente. El amable Rafael Soria me ofrece que, a pesar del tiempo y de no tener garantía, me ofrecían un plan renove a través de una tienda de mi elección.

Acudí a Búho Bike, mi tienda de cabecera en Madrid, y Jorge y Gilbert se ocuparon de todo. Entregué mis luces antiguas y compré otras dos en condiciones favorables. Tanto Macario Llorente como Búho Bike ajustaron sus márgenes para que así fuera.

Hace algún tiempo se pensaba que el vídeo mataría a la estrella de la radio. Hoy que Internet a la distribución tradicional. Ni una cosa ni otra mientras se reinventen los conceptos.

 

 

I like to state clearly what happens in our market concerning distribution. This is not the first time that I let you know one of the very unpresentable attitudes and answers from distributors, brands, shops, etc. that I directly suffer. I do usually deal with them, as much as SPORT LAB, as a final user and I have seen everything. When I talk about something bad, I do not unveil the sinner. In this case, I will tell you something good and I will discover who is behind this positive result.

Four years ago I bought two Cateye lights for my urban ride. Cateye is a one of a kind brand regarding product quality. Nevertheless, these lights, under an infrequent use, drained the batteries at a scandalous pace even when off. A few weeks ago, I reached Macario Llorente, Cateye´s Spanish Distributor, and told them that, though the lights were not covered by any warranty, if they could find a solution. My surprise was enormous when they answered right on the next day. The kind Rafael Soria offered me, in spite of the time went by and even not having any warranty, they suggested me a renove plan through the shop that I chose.

I ran to Búho BIke, my bedside shop in Madrid, and Jorge and Gilbert took care of all of it. I gave my old lights and bought a couple of new ones in special conditions. Both Macario Llorente and Búho Bike reduced their margins to make it possible.

A few decades ago we thought that the video would kill the radio star. Today that the Internet will the traditional distribution. Neither one thing nor another as longs as concepts are reinvented.

 

 

La noticia ciclista del día ha sido el recorrido oficial de La Vuelta 2012. Como podréis haber leído hasta la saciedad, discurre sólo por el norte, es montañosa y aparentemente diseñada para que gane Purito. Parece que para Purito es todo cuesta abajo y para los demás cuesta arriba. Para mí que el recorrido es una de las variables a tener en cuenta además de salud, equipo, clima, temporada, accidentes e incluso algo de suerte. Si gana Purito será porque sea el justo vencedor, pero habrá un puñado de leones tratando de que esto no ocurra.

Hablando del clima, para una Vuelta que empieza el 18 de agosto en España, no es mala idea que discurra toda por el norte, sobre todo porque ahora se puede ir a esa zona de España, algo que no ha sido posible durante décadas. Ya vendrán al sur y me hará tanta ilusión como la que me hace ahora esta edición de nuestra carrera.

 

 

The cycling new of the day is the Vuelta 2012 route. As you might have read as nauseam, it runs only in the north, it is mountainous and has been designed for Purito to win. It seems that for Purito everything is downhill and for the rest it is uphill. In my opinion, the route is one of the variables to take into account in addition to health, team, season, weather, crashes and a bit of luck. If Purito wins it will happen because he deserves it, but there will be a bunch of lions trying that it does not happen.

Talking about weather, for a Vuelta that starts on August the 18th in Spain, it is not a bad idea that it runs all over the north, above all because now you can go to this part of Spain, what has not been possible for decades. One day they will surely go to the south and I will look forward to it as I do to this edition of our race.

 

La notizia ciclistica del giorno è stata la presentazione ufficiale del percorso della Vuelta 2012. Come avrete potuto leggere,  interesserá soltanto il nord della Spagna, è montagnosa  e apparentemente disegnada affinchè vinca Purito. Sembra che per Purito sará tutta in discesa e per gli altri tutta in salita. Per me, il percorso è una delle variabili da tenere in considerazione oltre alla salute, la squadra, il clima, la stagione, incidenti e fortuna. Se vincerá Purito, sará perchè si dimostrerá il migliore, ma avrá contro un gruppo di leoni pronti a dargli battaglia.

Parlando del clima, bè,per una Vuelta che inizia il 18 Agosto in Spagna, non è una cattiva idea che si svolga tutta al nord, soprattutto perchè ora si puó “accederé” in queste zone della Spagna, cosa impossibile fino a qualche decennio fa. Quando verranno al sud mi emozioneró, come mi emoziona questa edizione della nostra corsa.

 

Como habíamos anunciado ayer, se han disputado las etapas 5A, contrarreloj, y 5B, en ruta. La primera con 20 kilómetros y la segunda con 130.

Por la mañana los corredores del Andalucía se defendieron con dignidad: Antonio Cabello fue el primer español  seguido de cerca de Eloy Ruíz, ambos del equipo andaluz. Por la tarde Adrián Palomares ganó una etapa marcada por el frío austral y por los magníficos paisajes. El atleta SPORT LAB Juan José Lobato ganó el sprint del grupo que perseguía al trío vencedor de la etapa que discurrió entre Puerto Montt y Osorno.

As we told you in advance, the 5A, time trial, and 5B, route, stages of the Vuelta a Chile have been held. The first for 20 kilometers, the latter 130.

In the morning, Andalucía Team riders did their best by placing Antonio Cabello as the first Spanish and with Eloy Ruíz right behind him, being both part of the Andalusian team. In the evening, Adrián Palomares won a stage marked by the austral cold and beautiful landscapes. SPORT LAB´S athelte Juan José Lobato won the group sprint follower of the winner trio wheels in this stage between Puerto Montt and Osorno.

 

Come annunciato ieri, sono state disputate ieri le due frazioni della 5º tappa, la prima parte a cronometro, la seconda su strada, rispettivamente di 20km e di 130 km.

Durante  la mattina, i corredori del team Andalucía si sono difesi con dignitá: Antonio Cabello è stato il primo spagnolo, seguito immediatamente da Eloy Ruíz, entrambi della squadra  andalusa. Nel pomeriggio, Adrián Palomares ha vinto una tappa segnata dal freddo australe e dai magnifici paesaggi. L’ atleta SPORT LAB Juan José Lobato ha vinto lo sprint del gruppo che inseguiva il terzetto vincitore della tappa svoltasi tra Puerto Montt y Osorno.

 

 

El equipo Andalucía ha iniciado su temporada con buen pie. En la primera etapa de la Vuelta a Chile, una contrarreljo de 18 kilómetros, el equipo Andalucía hzo un octavo puesto, aún sin rueda lenticular y sin cabra. Según el atleta SPORT LAB Juan José Lobato, las sensaciones son buenas y hay ánimo en el equipo.

 

La segunda etapa de esta carrera tenía un recorrido de 140 kilómetros con una llegada que según Juanjo es un tanto camicace, pero que la veía oportuna para intentarlo. Juanjo fue con la”escopeta cargada”. Dicho y hecho. Juanjo ha ganado el sprint de esta etapa que llegaba a la Serena. Así maraca un magnífico comienzo para él y su equipo.

 

La tercera etapa ha salido de Los Vilos para llegar a la deliciosa Viña del Mar. Tres puertos, uno de ellos de segunda, y 190 kilómetros de recorrido. Lobato ha hecho sexto y en puestos principales ha netrado Antonio Cabello Baena.

 

La cuarta etapa arrancó igualmente de Viña del Mar, La Cuidad Jardín. Desde esta zona turística partieron para recorrer 140 kilómetros hasta la espectacular Hacienda de Santa Martina, un complejo de ocio y golf de lujo a 1.400 metros de altitud al que se accede tras sufrir en un tramo empinadísimo y hors categorie. Cuando digo fuera de categoría, me refiero a 5 kilómetros al 20% de desnivel, según me cuenta Juan José. Aún así, dice que las sensaciones son buenas. ¡Impresionante! Eloy Ruíz, compañero de Lobato en el equipo Andalucía tuvo una destacada actuación en el día en el que el equipo Clos de Pirque-Trek dominó con mano de hierro. Su corredor Patricio Almonacid ha ganado la tercera y cuarta etapas como muestra de su poderío.

 

Ayer lunes fue jornada de descanso para afrontar un desplazamiento de mil kilómetros hasta la salida en Puerto Montt. Hoy se disputará una etapa dividida en dos sectores, como antiguamente. Por la mañana una contrarreloj individual de 20 klómetros y por la tarde 130 kilómetros entre Puerto Montt y Osorno. No tengo más remedio que destacar los bellísimos parajes por los que discurre esta Vuelta a Chile.

 

 

The Andalucía Team has started the current season with the right foot. In the first stage of the Vuelta a Chile, a 18 kilometers team time trail, the Andalucía Team scored eighth even with no lenticular wheel nor TT horns. According to the SPORT LAB athlete, Juan José Lobato, feelings were good and they are in the mood.

 

The second stage was 140 kilometers long with a kamikaze arrival as Juanjo stated, but certainly good to give a try. Juanjo went “with a loaded gun”. No sooner said than done. Juanjo won the sprint of this stage that arrived to La Serena. Thus, he sets a good start for his team.

 

Third stage left Los Vilos to reach Viña del Mar. Three passes, one of them of a second category and a 190 kilometers run. Lobato scored sixth and also Antonio Cabello Baena was also ahead.

 

Fourth stage started right in Viña del Mar again, The Garden City.  From this vacation area they left to ride 140 kilometers up to the stunning Hacienda de Santa Martina, a leisure and golf resort to which you can gain access after suffering a quite steep  and hors categorie section.  When I say hors categorie, I mean 5 kilometers at a 20% inclination, as Juanjo related to me. Amazing! Eloy Ruíz, Juanjo’s teammate in the Andalucía Team had a notorious role on a day on which the Clos de Pirque-Trek team ruled with firm hand. Their cyclist, Patricio Almonacid has won the third and fourth stages as a proof of his power.

 

Yesterday, Monday, it was a rest day to face a one thousand kilometers transfer until the next start at Puerto Montt. Today, they will race an old times splitted into two stage. A 20 kilometers time trial in the morning and 130 kilometers between Puerto Montt and Osorno in the evening. I have no option but enhace the beautifulsceneries this Vuelta a Chile runs.

 

 

L’avvio di stagione del team Andalusia è stato sicuramente buono. Nella prima tappa del Giro del Cile,di 18 km a cronometro, la squadra Andalucía è arrivata ottava, ma, secondo l’ atleta SPORT LAB Juan José Lobato, le sensazioni sono buone e vi è il giusto spirito di squadra.

La seconda tappa di questo giro è stato un percorso di 140 km che ha visto terminare Juanjo un pò come un kamikaze, ma era necessario provare. Juanjo era con la “pistola carica”. Detto fatto. Juanjo ha vinto la volata della tappa con arrivo al Serena. Un grande inizio,quindi, per lui e per la sua squadra.

La terza tappa è iniziata a Los Vilos, per terminare a Viña del Mar. Tre porti, uno di questi di seconda, e 190 km di percorso. Lobato è arrivato sesto e Antonio Cabello si è aggiudicato un buon piazzamento.

Anchela quarta tappa ha avuto inizio a Viña del Mar, la Città Giardino. Sono partiti da questa zona turistica per percorrere i 140 chilometri fino alla spettacolare Hacienda Santa Martina, uno spettacolare resort di lusso, di golf a 1.400 metri sul livello del mare che si raggiunge dopo essere saliti su un trano ripidissimo e di hors categorie. Quando dico fuori categoria,, mi riferisco ai  5 km al 20% di pendenza, in base a quanto mi racconta Juan José. Eppure, dice che le sensazioni sono buone. Impressionante! Eloy Ruiz , compagno di Lobato nel team Andalucía ha avuto un rendimento eccezionale nel giorno giorno che ha visto il team Pirque-Trek dominare con pugno di ferro. Il loro corridore broker Patricio Almonacid ha vinto la terza e la quarta fase a dimostrazione del loro potere.

Lunedi è stato un giorno di riposo, necessario per affrontare uno spostamento di mille miglia per la tappa a Puerto Montt. Questo ospiterà una frazione divisa in due parti, come la precedente. In mattinata una cronometro individuale di 20 km, e nel pomeriggio, 130 km, tra Puerto Montt e Osorno. Non ho altra scelta che evidenziare i bellissimi luoghi che attraversa questa Vuelta de Chile.
