Mostrar menúContador ya está en Suiza para ser juzgado por su supuesta ingestión de clembuterol, algo que no se sabe en qué cantidad has de tomar para ser considerado dopaje, por los miembros del TAS (Tribunal de Justicia Deportiva). Durará hasta el jueves y “tras unas semanas” sabremos el resultado de esta pantomima.
Profundizando un poco más en el asunto, por parte de Contador asistirán corredores de su equipo que comieron de esa misma carne pero que no pasaron control ese día, el detective que siguió la pista de la carne supuestamente adulterada y una pléyade de abogados y asesores. Por parte del TAS, el carnicero (nada que ver con la UCI, aclaro) y el representante de la Asociación de Ganaderos de Vacuno.
Han aparecido reses del 2009 con restos de clembuterol, una aportación de la Federación Internacional de Fútbol en forma de un estudio sobre la eliminación del clembuterol por el cuerpo humano que podría cambiar la consideración de este hecho como dopaje no intencionado a tenor de los cientos de casos acreditados. Por si fuera poco, la carnicería de Irún que vendió al equipo la carne ya fue sancionada en el 2000 por uso de clembuterol. Todo esto podría hacer a la (AMA) Agencia Mundial Antidopaje, cambiar el código y, de una vez por todas, definir qué es dopaje y qué no para no andar mareando a la gente por ataques de soberbia.
Con respecto al test de los flatatos, es poco preciso y puede detectar el plástico de las bolsas que supuestamente contenían la sangre de la autotransfusión, así como el de bidones de agua, envoltorios de plástico, botellas, bandejas de este material, etc. O sea, que a partir de ahora hay que beber del grifo o de la botella de vidrio. Aun así, me temo que Contador podría ser acusado por tentativa de omisión de reciclaje del cristal.
Para más morbo, a Contador se le va a analizar su declaración con el detector de mentiras para que, a través de las inflexiones de su voz, pueda adivinarse si miente o no. Se me antoja poco preciso y un tanto humillante en comparación con el delito. No sé si este test lo habrá pasado El Cuco, pero me gustaría saberlo.
Creo que el TAS, la AMA, la UCI y toda esta patulea de moralistas de laxa conciencia, deberían:
– Establecer qué es dopaje con un mínimo de coherencia con la realidad fisiológica y médica de atletas en los tiempos en que vivimos.
– Definir métodos científicos no manipulables y de única interpretación para saber si los resultados que arrojasen fueran certeros.
– No dejar que criterios o intereses personales interfirieran en su labor. Claro, que si esto fuera así, estos señores no serían elegibles para sus cargos.
– Peder peso.
Si con un método y sistema ecuánime, preciso, que sea ajustado a lógica y con base científica se llega a la conclusión de que Contador, u otro cualquier deportista, se dopa, que pague por ello.
Mientras tanto, habremos de asistir a estos escarnios que pueden dar al traste (o no) con la carrera de un deportista en función de reacciones viscerales.

Digging a bit more in all of this, on the Contador´s side will attend the fair racers from his team who also ate the same meat but did not pass any control this day, the detective who followed the clue of the supposedly contaminated meat and group of lawyers and advisers. Concerning the phthalates test, it is not very accurate and it could detect plastic from the bags that might have contained the autotransfusion blood, along with the ones from water bottles, plastic wrapping, bottles, plastic trays, etc. In other words, from now onwards you must drink from the tap or glass bottles. Even then, I am afraid that Contador could be blamed for glass recycling omission attempt.
To add morbidity, Contador´s declaration will be analyzed by the lie detector to know via his voice inflection if he lies or not. It seems not too precise for me and somehow humiliating compared with the offense.
I think that the TAS, AMA, UCI and all this lax conscience moralists’ gang should:
– Set what is doping with a minimum of coherence with the physiological and medical reality of the athletes in the times we live.
– Define difficult to manipulate, scientifical and with only one interpretation methods to know it the provided results are certain.
– Avoid that personal interest or criteria interfere in their work. Well, if it were like that, they would not be electable for their positions.
– Lose weight.
If through an unbiased system and method, accurate, due of logic and upon a scientifical basis you reach the conclusion that Contador, or any other sportsperson, dopes, he/she should pay for it.
In the meanwhile we will have to attend these mocking that could (or not) mean an athlete´s career end using according to visceral reactions.
